Graduation!!

This weekend i Graduated from CEU with my Associates in Science. I'm good to go to USU with Mikey! After Graduation we went to Balance Rock Cafe for Lunch, and to an Antique store. After the Lunch I had my Bridal Shower, it was so much fun and i got alot of important things.... With all that out of the way my focus is now on the WEDDING!!! Saturday is coming fast and i'm so excited. After the Long Long wait it's crazy to think that it is finally here... i'll post when i can and it might be a while, so to keep you entertained till then here are some picture.

Love you Little Rissa

Well...... I always harass Larissa about how she doesn't blog as much any more and she always tells me that I should do one. Well, here I am! This is my first blogging experience.... hope it goes well. I just wanted to get on here to say that Larissa is an amazing girl. I know it sounds all lovey-dovey but she really is. I don' t think she gets enough credit for how much she does. I would go crazy if I had the schedule that she has. Right now, she is taking 16 or 17 credit hours at CEU, working as much as she can , planning a wedding, finds time to hang out with me on the weekends and makes time to talk to me at night when I'm up in Logan. I think anyone that has planned a wedding knows that that's probably plenty to do at one time... let alone go to work and attend classes and study. Well, i just thought i would let everyone know about how awesome my fiance is. I love her so much and can't wait to get married in the temple. Thanks for everything you do Riss!! Love you!!

Spring Breaks!!

It's been a while since i have blogged. Our Spring Breaks started off with a trip to the Draper Temple for the open house. It was so pretty. I didn't get any pictures because i lost my camera :( (no worries i found over my spring break in my closet under my 26 pairs of shoes) After the Open house we went up to Logan to look for apartments. We found a few we like but they wanted people in before May. so we have to wait a while to go looking again. It was fun to spend the weekend up in Logan together. We then came home to Price. It was really nice to have mike home for a whole week. The next week was my Spring Break al i did was work and i didn't get to see mike. I went Shopping on Thursday with my mom for some wedding stuff. We got a lot done and we had fun. Friday Mike came home (once again) and we hung out. Saturday the 21st my sister had a track meet that Mike and I helped out with. It was fun to remember back to our "glory days" of high school track. Mike helped out with Discus and i Helped with High jump. It was sad the girls were jumping over me and the boys were jumping over Mike. it was crazy. My sister did an amazing job. She did the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 4x400 relay, and 4x100 relay. She took first in her heat for 100 hurdles took 7th in the 300 hurdles and her relay team took 2nd in the 4x100 and 1st in the 4x400. After the track meet went to Mikes house to make White Chocolate Brownies. They were so good! we cooled them off out side while we played (it was soo nice this weekend) Mike wanted me to show him that i can do a front hand spring. it had been a while but i was amazed i could still do it :D. Sunday we went to the Draper Temple dedication and our Final class of Temple Prep... i'm good to go. but that was our last 2 weeks of spring break now its picture time.

STRESS!

OK i just need to let off some steam. I'm so swamped right now... or at least i feel like i am. We just got this new massage therapist who works till like 7 so i don't get off till she is done. I have mounds of homework (at least i feel that way). and today i found out that i might not be able to get Friday off to go up to Draper/Logan, all because so one might not be able to cover for me. now i'm late for institute because im stuck at work waiting for this lady to leave! AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is what mike is good for he knows how to calm me down. ...

Fun February!

once again i have been slacking. We always have fun together so I'll try and see if i can remember them all. I’ll do pictures and then just explain they wont be in order but it will kind of up date you on everything.
We counted all of my money that i had in my Piggy Bank. we came up with $250 Dollars in change. so this is it all counted out.

   For Valentines day mike got me a Rachel Ray Cook Book. so we decided to cook out of it. we made Fettuccine Alfredo, and Garlic Cheese Biscuits. It was so good and the best part is we didn’t burn it.

On the 21st of February we did a service project that i was helping with. these are some of our cute creations. we also did hygiene kits, and quilts. It was really fun and we had a really good turn out.

This weekend we went to the “Starry Starry Night Dance” at the Institute. It was really fun but we both cant dance so we went home and hung out. it was fun to get all dressed up and go. I got to wear my Dress that i haven’t worn in a year. We found it is really hard to swing dance in a dress that is restricting in the sleeves.
So there is our last 3 weeks in a nut shell. The weeks are long and boring cause we are in school and don’t get to be with each other. But the weekends are always eventful and exciting. 2 months now :D it’s coming fast and I'm so excited to see everything coming together.  Thanks to all who are helping out. It really means a lot :D

Sick of Homework... plus i needed to update

25 Random Things...
1. First and for most In 3 months i will be Mrs. Larissa Kasumi Terry! yes y'all 3 months! it's gone so fast but yet so slow. the weeks are long and the weekends are to fast. We have enjoyed the last 2 months of being engaged. yes it has had it's ups and downs but that is what brings Mikey and i closer together.

2. This is very weird but i like to have a clean room to study in. If my room isn't clean i will try and find a cleaner room to study in. If i can't find a clean room I'll clean my room. it was very weird today at work i was so excited to get off so i could clean it. i know I'm weird.

3. I love to organize things. When I can't focus on homework, I organize. Every so often i get in the mood to organize. lately i haven't been in that mood, maybe i should cause then i would be less stressed and could focus on WEDDING PLANS!

4. I am a perfectionist when it comes to studying or writing my notes. I like to re-write my notes so i can read them and so i can remember them better. (Mikey we are going to need a lot of paper :D)

5. I love to play the Piano. its my stress reliever. i don't know what I'm going to do when i go to Logan i won't have a piano to pound on. My mom can always tell when I'm mad cause I'll go pound out a song on the piano

6. Another one of my Stress relievers is talking to mike. I love the weekends cause i can just talk to him about anything and everything. i look forwards to 10 o' clock every night so i can just talk to him on the phone. He is my Best Friend and i can tell him anything and he knows exactly what i need to hear and he knows how to make me feel better.

7. I love sweaters cause i love to cuddle up in them. but it has to be really cold outside and i need to cuddle up with someone else (Mikey).

8. I hate it when my hands and feet are really hot. if my hands are to hot i will run them under ice cold water to cool them down.

9. I really like to take cold showers after i nice hard work out... (hasn't happened in a long long time). and i like to take really hot showers when I'm cold.

10. I am love with note books. for some reason i love note books. not that i write them that often but i like the looks of them. my goal is to have a journal library of cute notebooks.

11. I love Willow Tree angles. For Christmas my Future mother in law gave me a Willow tree Nativity and i am starting my own little collection.

12.I think i look better with my hair down then with it up in a messy bun or just up in general.

13. I really like simply apple juice. My future Father in law buys a bottle and it's gone by the end if the weekend. and when the grand kids are around it's like a juice fest.

14. I love runny eggs. Mike and i are still trying to perfect this skill but it's coming. Every Saturday after our work out and every Monday before he heads back to school we try and have runny eggs and pancakes.

15. I love church music. in fact that is what i listen to while i study. it's always playing in my room.

16. I love Bright colors. Pink orange yellow green blue. i love them all. All my clothes have color except for a few. i hate black. It's just a sad color. Bright colors make me happy.

17. I don't mind working out its getting me to work out that is the problem. Once I'm there I'm fine but getting me there is hard to do.

18.I really like shopping. i like it even more when mike is with me cause then I'm in and out of the store in a flash. When I'm with him i have a tendency to just glance over things rather then think about wanting the item. But if its my mom's money I'll spend it. Like this weekend mike and i went shopping for skirts for my sisters and my mom gave me some money. I spent it like nothing. but when it came to other things that i had to buy i was a little more thoughtful about it.

19. I can't wait for Flip-Flop weather. They are like my favorite shows ever. they are so comfy and can go with almost any outfit.

20. I love the Gospel. I honestly don't know what I would do without it or where I would be. It has been such a blessing in my life and i love to hear the testimony's of people around me.

21. I am engaged to the most amazing man ever. I must say I'm the luckiest girl ever to have him in my life. i don't know where i would be with out him and i don't know if i would have grown this much with out him. Thanks honey!

22. I miss Playing sports competitively. Volleyball was my life during high school and i loved coaching my JR high girls these past two years. I don't know what I'm going to do next fall when its time to hit the court hopefully helping out in Logan. I can't wait to have my own team to work with.

23.I love sleeping! oh how i love it. I hate it when my alarm goes off and I'm right in the middle of a really good dream and i hate how it always goes off during the best part of the dream.

24. I'm so excited to see where Mike gets to go to PT school. i hope he gets into Utah but anywhere will be good for us. It's not for another year but it will be fun to see how things play out for us.

25. I have the best family ever. Immediate, Extended and my soon to be family. They are the best. My siblings and i have our normal tifts but we work them out and have a good time. My extended family is awesome. There is about 5 couins that are my age and i have a specal conection with all of them they are like my sisters. and my Soon to be family, once again i am the luckiest girl ever! My FSIL's are so cool and so crafty and my FBIL's are so much fun to be with. and as for my FIL's they are so cool i feel so welcome in there home and can't wait to be part of their family. Thanks for all you do guys!

Thank Goodness for the weekends!

I just love the weekends! i get to be with mike first of all and i don't have to going to school which is a major plus! This weekend we had a blast just chillin and relaxin. Friday Mike came home and we just relaxed with the families. We ate dinner at with my family and then went to his house to watch the movie Click. (not the best movie kind of dirty but has a good meaning at the end) Saturday was a very productive day. we woke up and worked out then made some breakfast.

i love pancakes and runny eggs. then we went to our sisters Jr. jazz game (they are on the same team). They played the dreaded Helper team. They sadly lost but they did good no matter what the score was. We went shooting with my dad after the game. The Terry's have this thing with Martinelli Sparkling Cider so we went and shot all the bottles. it was so much fun. after the event full morning we TRIED to fix my car window but was unsuccessful. We went on a date to El Saltos and Walmart. (we already act like we are married) it was still fun. After our date we just went back to his house and relaxed. Today (Sunday) we went to church and watched the Superbowl oh and did scholarship stuff.

So this is my first post of the New Year and it's already 17 days in. My bad I've been so busy with Wedding planning, school, work and Chillin with mike on the weekends. So as everyone else has posted their new years resolutions i think i am going to follow the trend and do the same.

1. Get Married in May

(this will be hard cause I'm moving to Logan)

School is going as good as school can go. It's really busy but that is OK it keeps my mind off of things. Work is sad. but hopefully it will get better. Mike is doing good and is working so hard in school and is trying to find a new job so it should all work out for him. By the way My brother just got engaged to Bradi Jeffs. they are getting married April 25th.

Road Trip Weekend.

School is so lame! I'm sure all of you can agree with me on that. if not there is something seriously wrong with you. I will admit i am only taking 4 classes but they take up all my time. plus work, i go in when i can and when volleyball is over I'll be working part time in the afternoons. sometimes i wonder where the day has gone. but all things considering this week should be a good one. Monday went really smooth. Today (Tuesday) wasn't to bad till i found out some money was stolen out of my car. I wasn't to happy with that and my poor volleyball girls got the brunt of it. (sorry girls) Tomorrow (Wednesday) i get my upgrade on my phone and I'm super excited. My girls also have a game tomorrow in Huntington so hopefully we come out on top. Right now they are 6-1 I'm so proud of them. Thursday i am going on a road trip with my mom to Delta to watch my sister play volleyball and to see Megan before she gets married. Friday i get to go to Provo to go shopping and to a reunion with Mike. it should be really fun. Saturday We are going to Conference with my family and going to chill with them. I'm not sure how Sunday is going to go down but I'm excited. I'll get pictures up from my Road Trip weekend.

Kiddy Humor

So this Labor day weekend Mike came down from Logan. It was really good to see him. Friday we made some amazing cookies and hung out with his family. Saturday we went to the Manti temple. It was great to just spend a day with each other. I think every adventure we take he meets some of my crazy family members. This time he meet my Uncle Mike and Aunt Maria. They are some of my favorites. We talked for a little bit and then headed home and had a BBQ with his family. Sunday we went to church i played the musical number which if found out about on friday so it was kind of last min. my brother being the brat that he is asked " how long did you practice that song?" (cause i did mess up a little) i said " this morning" he quickly tried to cover himslef and said " oh that wasn't bad for practicing just this morning." so yeah... I went over to my grandmas for sunday night and will be here till monday. But my little cousin Caleb is so funny. He is four and the funniest little guy ever. we were up on the property and he saw a moth and said " look at this pretty butterfly. that is right your so pretty mister butterfly." i started to laugh so hard. He just looked at me and said " don't you think he is pretty." i just said "yes he is very pretty." Later we were going into my grandmas house. I asked him what my name was and he said "rissa" I asked him what Kacylias name was and he said "rissa 2" it was pretty funny. it's funny my cousins don't look anything like me because i am so dark and they are so "white" well at least the ones on my dads side... ha ha

WOW it has only been the first week and a half of School. I already have a quiz on Friday on the first 3 chapters in Anatomy, A 2 min presentation in corrections, and my volleyball girls have their first came next Tuesday. I already knew it would be a rough semester but not like this... My Monday .. holy cow! i had classes till 1 and then worked till 4:45, I went to volleyball at 5 till 6:30. i had a meeting at 6:30 for YSA and then i had to go back to the JR high for a parent meeting at 7:00 then to a block party that i sadly had to miss.. but i still got to have stake from the party. I was proud of myself for not wanting to kill someone or something by the end of the day. I don't mind staying busy but when it is one thing right after the other and you have to go across town do it.. things get way to heck-tic. I did get a run in so that is always good.

A Tribute To the Summer of 2008 and Mike!

This summer has been the best summer ever. I went to working full time to earn more money for school and decided that i wanted to make this summer fun to make up for all the work i would be doing. I met a great guy (Mike) and we started dating in April. ( so i guess it's been the best spring and summer) Just so everyone knows how Mike and i met it's kind of a weird story. Mike and I are both from Price and we both know some of the same people. Last summer i went back east with the seniors from my stake and some parents went also. The parents i happen to ride the last streach with were also his friends parents (confussing i know.) We started talking about dating and she brought up Mike. I thought that would be cool, dating an older guy that i had seen around and kind of new about, so i told her talk to him and have him ask me on a date. Thinking nothing of it for a while (say about march of '08) we became friends on the wonderful internet site Facebook. After commenting back and forth for a while i gave him my number. we started texting and then he came down one weekend from Logan (where he is going to school). He asked me on a date and we went to dinner and back to his house for a movie. It was fun and the next couple of weekends that he came down we hung out and went on dates. He then moved down here for the summer to work at Pro-Rehab because another job fell through, thank goodness, that would have sent him to Iowa. We spent many fun filled nights together through out the summer. We went to the Manti Pageant with my best friend, Went to the Zoo with Daisy, Adventured to Provo and SLC, and went to Greg and Ivy's wedding. We share many inside jokes together and many interesting moments. By the end of the summer we had became each others best freinds and found it really hard to leave each other. The funny thing is we were in the same ward my first year at CEU and we didn't really talk. the only time we talked to each other was when he asked to get my records. He also helped with Track my Senior year but i was doing running and jumping while he did throwing events. But here is to My best Friend, my turbo, and my Mikey. These next few Semesters will be rough with out you but i know we can do it. Best of Luck in school and I'll see ya when i see ya. Love you

Back to School.

It's that time of year once again. WOW! surprisingly i am really excited to get back to school. I don't have to work all day anymore i am doing a lot more then that so it is nice. I am taking 15 credit hours so we will see how busy i am. I am going to be a loser this semester though but with good reason. 2 of my really good friends are going on their missions. (Bradey Wilde to South Africa and Stephen Vogel to Independence Missouri) My really good Lauren is going to SLCC and My Mikey is going up to USU for his last year. and my best friend Megan is getting married. with them all leaving that just means more time to study and less or not as much partying. so the wonderful classes that i am taking shouldn't be to hard. I have Anatomy plus the lab, Geology, Music, Intro to Corrections, and service learning ( I'm coaching volleyball! it's awesome). Our family school pic. Welcome home Elder Ivory

He is finally home after two years. Elder Courtney James Ivory has been home for about 2 days now. Surprisingly he hasn't changed all that much. he is a little shy but i think he will grow out of that after he gets use to everything. things are going crazy cause I'm not the oldest anymore so it's weird that i don't get to take over everything. i mean i still do cause I'm the oldest girl but anyway that didn't make much sense.

Most of our family is come down to see him and to chill so we went swimming at the wave pool cause the little ones have never really been. little macey found it interesting. Macey was born 2 months after Courtney left on his mission so they have never meet each other till today. she didn't know what to think of Courtney it was cute. she would look him up and down every so often but after about an hour at the pool she warmed up to him. tomorrow is the big "homecoming talk" so the other side of the family will start pouring in. Our little house is going to run over by loads of people.

4 days

only 4 days and my brother will be home. I'm so excited and everyone hears about it. it's crazy how fast two years go by. when Courtney left i was a Jr. in high school now I'm getting ready to go in to my sophomore year of college. he will be home on the 26th of June and he talks in chruch on the 29th all my family will be here like at any other exciting time. ha ha well this blog is just a blurb on my brother and it kind of rambles on and on. not much as really been going on sence i have last blogged. so maybe next time i write it will be more interesting.
