Conference weekend... and the week after.

This last weekend mikes parents came up to visit. We hung out at the Hotel because we don't have cable at our house. It was awesome to sit and listen to the GA's and the Prophet speak. I love Hearing President Monsons Talks. He always tells the best stories. Elder Holland gave an AWESOME talk. He doesn't hold back on what he needs to say. We had tons of fun with Mikes parents.

Friday night we meet up with after Mikes misson reunion.

Saturday: We went to the Hotel for breakfast... watched the first session of conference and loved it even tough Me keena and mike were messing around the whole time... Maybe i shouldn't admit that. After we went TEXAS ROADHOUSE!!! the best place ever. mike and i would eat there everyday if we could. we didn't have the best experience with mikes food this time but we will still go for the rolls and peanuts! After lunch we went back to the hotel for the second session of conference and loved it too. after mike and i went home to get ready for the day finally. Mike and my FIL went to the Priesthood session, Kenna and my MIL went for a drive up the canyon while i studied. When the guys got back Mike, Kenna, my FIL, and I went to American West (a little farm south of logan) and Did a Corn maze and all the other activities there. We did the Corn Maze in 30 min and everyone there said it would take us an hour. After the corn maze, Kenna and i went on a Hay Slide. it was fun but not worth the hey i got in my shoes. We then did a Black out Maze. We hurried through it because they had hay and mike has really bad hay fever. After our Adventure at the Farm we ran to Wal-mart to get a few things for Conference Nachos and then went and got a treat from Arctic Circle.

Sunday: Once again we had Breakfast at the hotel. (got to love free breakfast.) we watched the First session of conference at the hotel then went over to Corrine's house for the second session. we had our conference Nachos :D and i slept more then i should have. After conference we went home to study and mikes parents went to see Amie and then were on their way home.

This semester i took the hardest class of my life. Physiology from ANDY ANDERSEN. for those of you who haven't heard of Andy Andersen. He is a Crazy Biology teacher here at USU. well needless to say i studied my butt off and still failed my first two tests in his class So i dropped the class. I would rather have a W on my transcript then an F. On a better note mike is so smart and passed his test from Andy. I'm thinking about changing my major from PE and coaching to Health Education with a minor in PE because i have less to do :D If i kept my PE major i would have to choose another minor and spend forever on that too so this is easier. but anyways

Mike and I are doing great. I love having him home at nights now. i love making dinner for him and then him coming home from work :D its awesome.

This weekend we are going to Clints wedding (mikes cousin). so we will HOPEFULLY have pictures up ... again HOPEFULLY. haha

Running and Chilling

So basically my Sister Kacylia Is awesome! Last weekend I went to watch my sister run in a Cross country meet at UVU. (Mike was hunting with my dad and grandpa) She did great and has more guts then i have... Her team took 6th out of 1A,2A, and 3A. I cant remember what place she came in but she did awesome. She also plays volleyball for the High school. I'm not sure what their record is now but they aren't doing to bad considering the change in coaching staff. She plays back row as a Defensive specialist and a libero. To add to her sports she is a 4.0 student and an awesome friend. I look up to here in so many ways.. (and not because she is BARELY, BARELY taller then me.) She has such class and she is so sweet. Who ever ends up with her as a wife they are a really really lucky guy and better treat her with the respect she deserves.

But back to the Running and Chilling part of the blog. I got to hang out with my other sister Karina and my mom while Kacylia was running. After the meet we went Shopping!!! i love shopping its nice to be with the girls. (plus mike benefits from it too. even if he doesn't want to admit it.)
We hung out with mikes family after mike got back from hunting. I love going down to price cause it brings back so many memories.

This weekend we went to Mikes mission reunion and was stuck in traffic for 2 HOURS!!!! it was crazy, i have never seen traffic backed up from Provo to Salt Lake. They say the traffic was backed up because of the BYU game. Which they won so it really wasn't worth USU fans to go down to Provo.
Mikes Parents came up to visit for conference weekend... i'll have more of that later cause conference weekend isn't over yet... haha

Change is in the Air!

This Semester has been kind of crazy. With both of us working, going to school, studying and spending time with each other when we can ... well change # one (well mainly the only change but a big one at that) is MIKE GOT A NEW JOB. During the summer and the first part of this semester Mike has been working at Smiths marketplace. It wasn't to bad but it was a job and he really didn't like it. He had to work on sunday's and nights which i hated and so did he. well his new job is a lot better. He now works on campus at a Chemistry Lab with Scott ( his brother). so the great points about this job are.... Not in any order..
1. weekends off
2. better pay
3. he is off so he can "study" aka hang out with me more
4. better work environment
5. its on campus so we don't need to use the car as much
6. I don't have to stay up waiting for him to come home...
7. Did i mention more time with me..
8. he will work when i work so we really aren't alone.
9. WEEKENDS OFF
10. OH and MORE TIME WITH ME :D

PT schools here we come.. mike has stared the application process to PT Schools (physical Therapy) so far we have thought about UTAH, Colorado, UNLV, Western Washington, and Chicago. He takes the GRE tomorrow so keep him in your prayers.

Another change is it is starting to get COLD. is it weird that i'm excited for it to get cold. it's not that great when i have to wake up early in the morning and catch the bus but after it's not bad. Plus i get to start wearing my sweaters and i have tons. I'm so excited.

I think that is about all the changes we have... so life is going great for us and we are super excited for all the changes that will come our way in the next few months. Sorry there are no pictures. I should have some from this up coming weekend so we will see i'm going to try and do better at the picture taking.

Kind of... I was born and raised in Price, Mike was Born in Vegas and moved and ended up in Price :D

by far mike is... but i know a little more about the house hold duties.

To be honest...probably him! but i have my sensitive moments...

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

ok Keek this is for you:D

August has been busy hence no post for a while. i can't even remember half the stuff we did. I do remember my birthday though. so i'll start from there. My birthday was on the 12th and mikes cousin came home the same day so we went to the SL Airport to welcome him home. after that we went to TUCANOS!!! the best place to eat at the Gateway mall we were stuffed. To work it off we went SHOPPING! i loved it. Mike liked it too cause he got 2 shirts. that weekend Mikes parents came up for the weekend. we went Biking with Scott and Amie and had tonz of fun. poor mike had to work most of the time but was able to hang out with us at night and for meals. That Sunday Jessie (mikes RM cousin) spoke in church so we went and listened to him. the weekend of the 21st -23rd we went home to price to hang out with our families before school started. The start of that adventure we went to FG to hung out with my grandparents and showed mike the coolness of FG. we hung out with my aunt and her girls too. they are so crazy. Paige who is almost 8 was playing with us and said " Rissa is my cousin, He (pointing to mike) is my Uncle..." Bean Mike and I all started laughing and Paige wigged out like normal. We stayed the night in Manti so we could go to the temple with Admara. it was such and awesome experience that Manti temple is by far my favorite temple. that night we meet up with my parents and the girls and went fishing... well my sisters and dad fished, mom me and mike untangled their lines. The next day was the Temple Dedication. That was pretty cool they canceled Church so that everyone could go... that is how important temples are. Then on Monday the 24th it was BACK to school for mike and i. YAY! i was so excited till... i found out that my dynamic fitness lab person was crazy. but that is a different story. I have 7 classes (dynamic fitness, physiology, Mental Aspects, Methods of Coaching, Skills 2, Skills 3, and Rhythms and Movement) Hope fully i lose some weight with all these pe classes. Mike only has 4 classes (Physics, Micro, Medical terminology, and kinesiology) ... Ive been working at the Book store for rush week so it has been crazy. mike has been working at smiths and has started at the Sleep lab so he gets pretty tired. so that is August for ya.. sorry there are no pictures i'm up on campus and don't have my computer with me ... i'm in the lab... but i'll try and get some up soon so my Awesome SIL doesnt go crazy. :D

I really need to blog. i have a few pictures to to put up but i don't know where they are. SO! sometime this week i will put them up and when i feel like chillin up on campus for a while i will let you know how our lives are goin!

not much goin on...

This week we haven't really done much. We've just been working and keeping things running around here. We just updated my computer so it runs faster and can run more programs... but the battery is pretty much shoot. i think about the only exciting thing that i can remember happening is our adventure to Sams Club. we had to take our Box Springs back because 2 boards broke... well we don't have a super big car so we through it on top of our vibe and tried to tie it down... we used a phone cord to hold down the front. (sorry no pictures) we also had to get our tires rotated so we hung around sams for about 45 min to get that done.. we pretty much had dinner at Sams with all the free samples. then a lady came over the loud speaker and announched that she was giving away free knives and all we had to do was listen to her talk.. she wasn't really funny FYI and the knife we got was pretty little and dinky. after that we played on the computers by that time the car was ready... we picked up our box springs loaded it on to our car and headed home.. it was pretty exciting ... ha but that is it for now... Next week we are going on an adventure to Southern Utah with the Terry's i'll keep you posted on anymore happenings :D

Congrats Hailey!! and Wedding pictures.

Last Thursday I went to my Cousin Hailey’s wedding. It was wonderful but i really missed mike being with me. Mike had to work so he wasn’t able to come with me. The Ceremony was a nice reminder of why we marry in the temple and how important that one step is in our lives. The reception was really nice and i wanted it to be my wedding again. That day is unreal. Its so weird that you remember how you felt and not what was said or how everything went. I wouldn’t change anything about our wedding day because it was perfect for us :D I think it’s crazy how each wedding matches each couple perfectly.

The story behind this is pretty funny. When we were waiting to take pictures there was this lady who took forever to take pictures. We called her the Tripod lady. well we caught up with here on the other side of the temple and she took forever once again. So our photographer said “ do you want to get her back?” mike and i looked at each other like “should we?” so we said yeah. and he said to take off running behind the pictures. and low and behold we have this picture.
