Quick Hospital Story

Yesterday Mike & i took trip to the Hospital hoping to coming home with a baby.
It all started Saturday night...
I started to have consistent contractions with a little pain. but after being on my feet all day i didn't think much of it.
Sunday morning my Contractions were still consistent but not very strong so we went to church. During Sacrament we timed them and they started getting stronger. I had to play the organ so i didn't really want to think about the contractions (I don't think Titus likes me playing, that or he LOVES it cause he would kick and move like crazy when i would play.) My Conractions were starting to take my breath away in sunday school so we timed them and they were 3 to 5 min apart. After sunday school we decided it would be better to be safe then sorry so we went to the hospital.
While at the hospital they checked me & i was at a 1 and 70 % Effaced. They monitored me and Titus for a while. Everything was going good so they decided to let me eat and start walking (to help get me to a 4. four is the magic number to be moved over to Labor & Delivery). Mike and I walked the Hospital for 2 HOURS. I had to do exercises during my contractions so every 3 mins we would stop and i would do my weird exercise.
After the two hours we went back up to the Labor & delivery ER to be checked again and SADLY we were still at a ONE. They sent us home... and so today i am going to be doing my exercises, Clean and keep busy.

Mike is getting so excited and had been texting me every chance he gets to see if my contractions have gotten harder. So i better get off my butt and start Squatting so this little man can be on his way.. We will keep you all updated.

38 weeks & counting...

12 more days till my Due date & only 2 days left at work.... Everything is ready for the little man to get here.
Dr. says I'm still measuring small for being 38 weeks, but i feel huge. My Dr. is out of the office this week so we will see what the Other Dr thinks. We did an AFI to check the fluid and everything is looking good, it's normal. He is really active and always moving. i have gained a total of 24 lbs. My ribs are so sore and i cant bend over.

Fall Break!

Mike's fall Break was this last week so we spent sometime in Price with our families. I had to work so i didn't get to join in the fun till Wednesday. Amie and Baby L where in for a visit i'll have to get their pictures up next post... On Saturday we went to Arches ... Mike has never been before so we thought i would be the perfect timing before i got to big.

Camping & Family

 The Last weekend in July we went camping with our ward at our Bishops cabin up in Scofield. it was so much fun. We got there around 5 o'clock  and ate some amazing ribs. We went for a four-wheeler ride and chatted with the ward members. Saturday we woke up at, get this, 6:45 yeah no joke. 

           Funny story : A little boy who had never been camping in Utah woke up WAY early. when he            emerged from his tent he said, "Wake up everyone, it's beautiful out here." 

He was right, it WAS beautiful!

and ate this. Has-browns & Sausage.

We also had pancakes and eggs :D

The next week Mike had his first Finals week at the U.
He is so smart, He got straight A's! but the excitement of being done with the semester
was cut short by two nasty wasps.
While he was trying to unlock his bike after his last test, they went in for the attack.
He was stung twice on his right thumb.
We got the swelling down with some Ibuprofen and ice. (story to be continued)
We drove down to price to hang out with his sister who is visiting from Cali.
She made yummy Monte Cristos.
The Next day mike woke up to have his hand look like this.

His Right hand was swollen.

So we Doctored  him with Benadryl, Ice and Redmond Clay.

BABY UPDATE:

Here i am at 15 weeks.
Just a little belly. Mike thinks this pictures looks like its from the 70's
because of my green shorts and our gold couch.
Anyways... I haven't had any morning sickness just minor headaches just before bed.
Ice packs for my neck are my new best friend.
Smells still get to me a little. But that is normal.
I'm kind of starting into my nesting stage. i have so many projects i want to do and
i want to get the baby's room started.
We find out what we are having in September so get ready for a poll to be posted soon.

A little about baby:
IT is about the size of a Navel Orange
weighs about 2.5 oz and is 4 ins. long.
IT is moving like crazy but you can't really feel it.
(even though sometimes i swear i can.)

The end of June & July have been super busy for us. well at least the weekends. Mike is enjoying school and is almost done with his first semester at the U. Me on the hand: i'm still looking for a job and TRYING to stay busy around the house.

We drove 30 mins. to Park City! To hang out with mikes family.

We had a Blast as you can tell by the pictures.

The Next weekend we hung out in Park city again for a little while. 

The Weekend after Was LAMB DAY!!

For those of you who don't know what LAMB DAY is ... your missing out.

It's like International Days but with Lamb & an Amazing Parade.

 We Hiked Ensign Peak To watch Fireworks. 

It was a good little hike.
