Mike (sadly) had to go back to work this morning. It's always hard to leave him even more now that we are engaged. But it should be a good week cause everyone is coming home except Kyla :( we are going to miss you a ton. On a brighter note Daisey Frankie Steve and Crystal are going to be here tomorrow :D and then Hannah Emma Russ and Christa will be here Friday and so will Mikey. we have a lot going on so I'll keep y'all updated on things. ENGAGED!!! oh and 11 days till christmas
Mike and I are finally engaged. we are so excited to start all the planning (well at least i am). So everyone has been asking about the story. so here it is with a few pictures.
On Saturday December 13th we went with his family up to Logan to a voice male concert. It was really fun to see Amie and Scott and to laugh and be entertained by Voice Male. We went and ate at the Firehouse (a pizza place up there) then we went to Salt lake. Traffic was horrific. we parked at the Gateway mall. We rode the Trax up to Temple Square and took a carriage ride with his family. It was like the perfect night with all the snow softly falling. Then we went for a walk on temple square we left the group and found a nice quiet place. He told me to reach in his pockets to keep my hands warm and in the pocket was the ring. He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I guess i was some what shocked cause i didn't take off my glove. He told me to take off my glove and he put the ring on my finger and i said yes. We walked back to where the family was and told them and started calling my family.

15 days till Christmas! and i'm done with finals!
Good luck to everyone who is still cramming for finals! I'm done with this semester and man does it feel good. It has been a long awaited finish!
I love wrapping presents and i love it when there is a ton of ribbon. (i like to play with it). So mike, crystal, and my family look out for very ribbon-ated presents.

8 month update!!!
It has already been 8 months that Mike and I have been dating. It's crazy how fast time goes when your having the time of your life. I'm at work right now so this post wont have any pictures but I'll put some on when i have time at home. But Mike and I have been together for 8 wonderful months now.
SOO... I don't think i have shared our story so here it goes. It's kind of long but we like it. (and this is my side of the story)
After my senior year i went on a senior trip to Nauvoo. on the last stretch i was riding with some parents and we started talking about there son and one of his friends (Mike) she suggested to me that i should go on a date with him but i said it's his job to ask. Not thinking anything of it till he added me on facebook ( i know facebook lame). We started talking and finally i gave him my number cause i wouldn't have my computer for the weekend. He text me and i was so excited, i mean what girl wouldn't, some cute guy texting me was just so exciting. we started texting a lot and then one weekend he came down and we went on our first date (El Saltos and a movie at his house). By now it's March 2008, I waited patiently for him to hold my hand. It took him a month to hold my hand ( i know we move slow). that was April 18Th, don't ask how i remember i just do. About a week later he kissed me, It's so funny how you can think about it and feel how it was and where you were and what you were doing. We spent the whole summer together. During the summer i had a birthday i will never forget. Mike and I had roast that his mom made and it was so good. HE made me a jello cake and gave me a CTR ring. that night we just laid under the stars talking and playing the question game. It was my turn and i asked him " what have you been dying to tell me but haven't had the guts to ask?" I had no idea what the answer would be but i wanted to know so i kept bugging him. after about 20 mins. of begging and moving twice cause the sprinklers came on he whispered in my ear, "I Love you." I was so happy and shocked to hear him say that. I looked at him and gave him a kiss and said "I love you too." I know so like in the movies but it is something i will always remember. When came time for school to start up again things got a little hard. he had to go back up to Logan and we wouldn't be able to see each other as much as we would have liked. Each week has been hard and the same times we would have to go 2-3 weeks with out seeing each other which was really hard. now the semester is almost over (FINALLY) and it has made us so much stronger as couple.
I am so glad that i have mike in my life. I don't know what i would do with out him. He has helped me so much in the 8 months that I'm sure he doesn't even know about. I'm so thankful that he is understanding when it comes to me being an idiot or a dork. And i know he will always be by my side. Thanks for putting up with me honey i know it's hard!

Give Thanks!
I sent out a question through our wonderful technology called text messaging that asked.
What are you thankful for and why? I found that many people are thankful for their families and for the gospel. I got response that families give life meaning (RT), they help each other threw everything (TK), Because with out them i wouldn't be where i am today (MS), because i would be a gutter somewhere and wouldn't have anyone (LB), Because if i lost everything else in this life i know i will always have them and can count on them (DR.T). Families are so important and if done right families can be together forever. I am so thankful that i have the family i have because of everything they do. With out them nothing else matters. I am so thankful for my friends and those who stand by me. I am thankful for my BEST FRIEND, Mikey, He has helped me so much and makes me so much stronger. I am thankful for the hard times i go through because they make me stronger. I'm thankful for the Gospel because with out i wouldn't be who i am and i wouldn't know the things i know. I'm thankful for the atonement so i can be with my Heavenly Father again. I am thankful for Christ and all that he has done for. He is my older brother who i know will always be there for me. I am thankful for Temples so that i can be with the man of my dreams for time and all eternity. I'm so Thankful for technology so that can communicate with those who are not near me and so that i can share my feelings like this. Thank you for all that you have done.
