It is so crazy to think that This little Man is now ONE!

I'm kind of Bias but He is the best little guy anyone could ever ask for. He is always happy. He is SO cute, gets along with everyone, Makes me smile even when he is yelling at me. I can't even explain how much i love this little guy. He has already taught me so much in just one year.

Just a few things about this little Man!

*He started out at 5 lbs .8 oz. 19 inches (thank goodness cause mom couldn't have handled a bigger baby)

*He has ALWAYS been a great eater.

*He has started to sleep through the night again! knock on wood. (he would sleep through the night at 3 months then we started going places and he started sleeping with us again.)

*He LOVES Cheese & Juice & Crackers...

* He can sing More, Please, Milk & Up. It makes life so much easier knowing what he wants.

* He Has been walking since he was 8.5 months!(after he started rolling over at 4 months he hasn't stopped moving. We joke that he is like the Squirrel from the movie: Over the Hedge. He goes a millions miles a minute)

*He helps me clean up his toys. Now that he has figured out how to put things in containers he is always throwing things away. He knows where the Dirty Diapers go and will put them in their bag. He also know about the Recycling bin and tries to Recycle his Plugs Bottles & Balls(i spent 2 hours looking for them one day)

*He Love to play with balls books and Cars... He really is a boy..

* He is almost in 12 month clothes. He is just so tiny. It is quite amusing to watch him walk sometimes.

*He likes the vacuum..

*He Knows where his eyes, ear, mouth, head, hands & feet are.

*He knows what a car (vroom), Book (bou), Ball (baw) Dog (daw or woof) Sheep (ba) Lion/tiger/bear/... (rawr) are...

* He Loves sweets... cookies, cake anything mom and dad are eating.

*He can drink out of any kind of sippy cup and is learning how to drink out of a regular cup.

* He loves bath time.

*He is always happy

*He gives hugs & kisses (not open mouth anymore) to his favorite people.

*He knows how to be "soft"

*He likes to laugh with other people.

Titus' 1st Birthday Party!

To start us off...Here is Titus relaxin while i start making the cupcakes... All he needed was his bottle, his plug and a pillow and he was was set...

Only A baby can get away with Red sweat pants..

When the bottle didn't keep him busy he wanted an OREO!

He went to town and LOVED them...

He made such a mess...

But was so cute..

His Mickey mouse cupcakes! we were so proud of them... each cup cake also has an OREO in the middle.

Getting cleaned up was just as fun as getting into the cake...

I just love that face..

Then it was onto his presents... we sat him on the table so everyone could watch him open them.

He LOVED the ball from the Daws!

I loved opening the present with the Kids right in front of him.. He would would look at them after he opened something and Smile and giggle.

After everyone left we had an after Party of making Titus' first snow man.

Thanks To Everyone who came. Titus LOVED seeing you. I can't believe that he is already one year old.

It's been The best year so far.. I couldn't ask for sweeter, cuter little guy!

I have just realized that Titus is Growing up. I was putting him in Bed the other night and almost started crying cause he's not a baby anymore... He is turning into a little boy. He is now going to sleep easier, eats everything we give him. He LOVES Orange juice. He climbs on anything and everything. He gives Hugs and kisses. His Smile is to DIE for. He still likes to cuddle (thank goodness). Titus loves to help around the house, he will "help" pick up his toys, and the will close the Dishwasher & the Fridge. I cant believe he will be 1 on the 29th.

11 months.

They Play so well.. most of the time.

As for Mike & I... Mike is starting into his 2nd to last "Class semester" meaning he only has to sit in a class room this semester and the Fall Semester. the other 2 semesters ( summer 2012 & Spring 2013) are internships. He has class early in the morning and is done at the latest at 2 which is kind of nice. It would be better if he didn't have class at 7 or 8 in the morning.

I have started back to work again after the Christmas Break. I have also started watching Henry every other morning for about an hour while his mom & dad go to school & work. I love it cause it gives Titus someone to play with and gives me a break. They Play so well together i just have to worry about keeping them in one room. I just got a new calling as the RS teacher. I Love it (so far) its nice to finally have something that i have to study. it helps me study everyday and helps me understand things better. I am also the assistant ward organist.

so Far with my new goals i have done a pretty good job. our house is clean every night so i can wake up to a nice clean house. I'm working on not wasting time on the computer. (i mean pinterest, facebook & blogs only get updated every couple of mins. it gets kind of old.)

This weekend we are having Titus' First Birthday party! I am so excited and kind of nervous (I have never hosted a Birthday Party/ dinner Party before). I'll post all about it...

New Year Resolution Time
It's Crazy that it's time for these again (i guess we should always be making resolutions)
1. Read the WHOLE book of Mormon & keep a Scripture Journal.
*I found this AWESOME blog to help me with this one.. check her out The Redheaded Hostess
2. Keep A Clean(er) house!
* Hopefully Pintrest can help me out with this one.
3. Exercise at least 3 times a week. (P-90x, Running, Yoga, Etc.)
* I have to be in really good shape to chase titus around...
4. Totally De-cutler the House
* Once again hopefully Pinterest can help me out.
5. Teach Titus as much as i possibly can. (Shapes, Colors, Opposites, Numbers, Manners,etc.)
* he is such a smart kid and we always have to keep that mind going so he doesn't lose it.
6. Come up with Fun (Cheap) Activities for Titus
* he is also a busy body and needs constant entertainment..
7. Get Mike through Another year of school (1.5 years to go)
* WE CAN DO THIS!
8. Keep a budget.
* We need this ...
9. Eat Healthier
10. Be Better.

I can't believe Christmas is Already over. It went way to fast. Titus Loved his first Christmas... every time we gave him a new toy he would smile and look at us with the look of "Is this mine?" Here are a few pictures.

* He has started to say more words..

Daw= Dog

Mama= Mom or MOM!

Dada= Dad

Bo= Book

Voom= Car

* he can Do some Baby Signs (thank goodness)

More, Please, Milk, Bye & Hello, & kisses

* This kid has the Biggest heart. He will walk up and give me hugs or kisses (it's the best)

*He LOVES his Grandpas. (& grandmas)

*He is now walking around with a bottle in hand.

*Titus Likes to Kick, Throw or bounce a ball.

*He will bring us books to read to him.

*He will bring us things when we ask him too.

*If you have food he is your best friend

* He LOVES any electronic device. He is going to be a tech Genius by the time he is two.

* He likes to share but only for a little while.

* He knows that a dog says Woof.

*He isn't afraid of dogs as much anymore.

* He can get off furniture backwards.

*He has gotten 2 fat lips in four days and was a champ during both of them.

*He loves the Vacuum

* He likes the stairs & can go up but hasn't quite grasped the concept of going down.

*He will close the dishwasher and fridge for you.

*He will play the piano.

*He Stomps his feet to dance.

So i have really been slacking with the blogging thing. sorry about that. My new years Resolution is to do better.
It's kind of crazy that it is almost time for New Years Resolutions again. But first we need to Party Through Christmas.

TITUS Is 10 Months old Already!

Some fun quick facts about Titus:
* if you tell him to smile he plus a funny face (pictured above) he will also pucker up his lips and scrunch his nose if you show him the face.
*He has been walking for about 2 months now. we can't get this kid to stop moving. even when he sleeps he is moving.
*He says Dada a lot and only says Mama if he is really mad.
*He will say baba referring to either a book or ball. depends on what is in his hand.
*Titus is really good at bringing us things. We can tell him to get us a ball or book and he will bring it to us.

Don't you just love that Smile.

* Titus has 6 teeth now. 4 on top and 2 on bottom.

* He loves to eat he rarely turns down any kind of food. & he loves any kind of food. Crackers , Cookies, Yogurt melts, Puffers, anything dad or mom is eating. or if Grandma or Grandpa are around the gets what ever he wants to eat.

* He can Sign More and will say his prayers. He loves to wave good bye or Hello.

*Has started to climb on things..

*He LOVES to dance and shake his head.

*Titus really likes to go out side and play on the play ground and can go down the slide by himself.

*He is a people person. he loves attention. to get your attention he turns his head all cute like.

* He is a HUGE flirt. Girls watch out this kid is a heart breaker. Auntie Nikki even likes to play with him and she doesn't like babies/kids.

*He has TONZ of friends on the playground that are always so willing to help him out and bring him toys. They even protect him from rude/crazy kid.

*If He "bonks" his head he hits himself on the head and smiles. (i don't know if he is just crazy or thinks he is funny but it's pretty cute)

*He likes to blow kisses...

We just love this kid and are so Greatful that he is our little man! he hardly ever cries and is so easy going. So well mannered, and can go forever with out showing signs of tiredness or hunger.

It's hard to keep up with blogging when i'm trying to keep up with Tito man.. this kid is always going.
He is now walking everywhere. Saying dada, baba & making all kinds of other crazy noises. He has 4 teeth. and is making us smile everyday with his sweet personality.

For conference weekend we spent the weekend in Park City with Mike's family. we got away and rode the left up it was so pretty...

Not much has been going on with us... just going to school, working, & loving little tito! He is the coolest kid if i do say so myself. Last weekend the terry's came to visit we go to a Real Salt Lake Game... to bad if forgot my camera and didn't take any pictures.. but here are some cute little Pictures of Tito..

We can't get Titus to lay down with Tigger long enough to get a picture for comparison so i thought this one was pretty cute... He loves his tigger..

Mike is done with this first week of school. I have been working in the mornings before Mike heads off to school that way we don't need to get a baby sitter for the Tito Man. Titus is almost 7 months old can you believe it? I can't he is so stinking smart it amazes me what he learns & how fast he picks things up. a few facts about Titus:

He loves to move around: He has been crawling for about a month now ( I've been really bad at blogging). Our living room is a mess with DVD's, blocks and unused diapers. he loves to tear into things.
Titus loves to eat: i feel like i am constantly feeding him. a few foods he likes are Squash, Peaches, apples, carrots, Bananas, Mum-Mum's, & anythings put peas.
He loves his dad: Mike & Titus always have so much fun & i love listening to them laugh and giggle.
Titus likes to watch TV: thank goodness for this. If he hears one of "his" shows come on he just sits and watches for a good five mins, then plays then watches some more.
He has 2 teeth: Both on the bottom & they are so cute
Titus almost says dada: He mouths it, it is the funniest thing (if i new how to add video i would totally show it off)
He loves to play outside: he loves to watch the other kids play & likes to try to play with them. he loves to watch people and play in the grass.

Mike has been going to school and working hard to get things ready for the semester. I have been Trying to get our house organized again so that i can craft and be less angry. I have also been working again but looking for a baby sitting job so that i can be with Titus more & not have to listen to so many complaints.

our summer in Price

We have been living in Price for the summer while mike does his internship at the Castle View Hospital. Titus and i have been hanging out with Aunts & Grandparents like crazy while Mike has been working. We have done a few crafts, took a bunch of Naps, & done loads and loads of laundry.

Our awesome Garden. i need to update this picture because now it is HUGE. we have peas & Carrots, Squash, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Egg Plant, Pumpkins, Watermelon, Raspberries, Blackberries, Rhubarb, & Strawberries.

He was really hungry when the fireworks Finally started so we left early.

This Summer Mike & I have "raced" in a few races this summer (i just did them to accomplish something not to really one). In the Middle of June we did a triathlon, and neither one of us came in last. Mike's bike broke & i passed him but then he passed me in the swim. I didn't in less then 2 hours that was my goal so i guess i was successful. Last Weekend for Lamb Days we did the 5k, of all the years that i have been to Lamb Days this is the first time i have done the Fun Run. Titus joined in the fun by chillin with grandma & Grandpa while we ran.

I have 3 awesome dads that i would like to say Happy Fathers day to.

The first one is for Mikes dad. Kelly ( he doesn't read blogs so i'm sure he wont know about this.) is an awesome dad and Grandpa. we can always count on him to keep the house nice and cool, Take us to ALOT of movies while we are in price. We always need to be sure to have enough ketchup when ever we have hamburgers cause he basically drinks the nasty stuff. His DVR is full of weird shows and we never have to rent a movie cause he has them all. for real. Thanks for being an awesome dad to mike, A great father in law to me, and a crazy freaky grandpa to Titus. ( even if he just stares you down)

Dad number 2 is my dad. I am a daddy's girl. i can remember listening to Garth Brooks, Clint Black & Journey all the time in the car with him. He always tells illustrated stories and comes up with the weirdest nick names. He helped teach me how to drive a stick shift in the big red truck & taught me how to shoot a gun like a pro. Thanks for being there for my volleyball games, my plays, my concerts, my dream wedding, helping us move, being there when ty was born, & for being a great dad. Love you from your favorite son in law Mike, your Favorite oldest daughter Larissa, & your favorite Grandson Tito Man.

The third dad is Mike. This is his first fathers day, i hope it has been a great one for him. He is the best dad anyone could ever ask for. He makes Titus Laugh, he calms him down, they are so cute together. He works so hard when he is going to school/internships and still has time to hang out with us and do daddy things. He is always thinking of Titus first, if ty isn't happy Mike tries everything he can to help him be happy. He is so smart... when he isn't hanging out with us he is studying & he can remember like everything. He is one of the smartest people in his class. he is always singing, i love this about him, titus loves music & loves it when his dad sings to him. there are so many things that i love about mike & Titus Loves him just as much. In fact when mike gets home from work Titus is all smiles. Here are a few of my favorite pictures of mike & titus. They are so cute together.

Our little man is a little over 4 months old. We can't imagine life with out the little guy. For his stats ...

Height: 23.5 inches

Weight: 14 lbs.

* Titus Loves to smile: he is such a happy baby.

* He enjoys Tummy Time.

*He can Roll over from his tummy to his back. sometimes.

* He sleeps through the night. (sometimes)

* He can sit up by himself

* He feeds himself a bottle

* Titus has tried Peas, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, & Bananas

*He loves to eat oatmeal.

*Titus likes to watch tv...

*he enjoys standing up.

*he Loves to look around.

*He isn't a fan of his car seat for long periods of time.

*if he doesn't like something or the position he is in he will arch his back till you move him.

* He Looks & acts a lot like his daddy.

* he loves to play with his dad.

*he follows me around the room when someone else is holding him.

*He is very friendly but will only smile for family.

*He Drools ALOT

*Titus likes to chew/suck his thumb.

* He puts anything & everything in his mouth.

* he is starting to giggle/laugh.

As you lay sleeping next to me i can't help but think how Lucky i am to have you as my best friend, my husband, the father to my child, my example, my teacher ... the list goes on and on. I love everything about you even the crazy things like the way you click your trout when it's sore, your crazy voices & your stinky-ness after a hard work out. I love how you study super hard & still make time for Titus & me. I love that you know everything about me... my favorite color, the fact that i love a clean house, that i love to clean, that i prefer candy over flowers... I love that i fit just right when we cuddle & that you love to cuddle {even though sometimes i don't want to cuddle} I'm not a fan of you hogging the bed BUT i love that i can wake up next to you every morning. It amazes me how you know so much about so much, & that you can come up with new and different sounds & songs all the time... I LOVE IT when you play with Titus. He loves to play with you & is so happy when you come home from school/work. {i don't know who loves it more me or him... me because then i get a break for a little while & i get to see you play with Titus. & Titus loves it cause then he doesn't have to deal with me any more.}
You make me a better person & you make me who i am. my life would not be complete with out you in it. Thanks for the BEST TWO YEARS OF MY LIFE so far... i look forward to many more great, wonderful, amazing, exciting...I look forward to being done with school, moving on to our next adventure, our many other children. & the life what is in front of us!
Thanks for putting up with me while i was pregnant, while i am learning to be a mother, & when i am just crazy & over reacting to what ever is going on.
Thanks for being so patient with me through all that we have gone through.
& Thanks for being the MOST AMAZING MAN! Titus has the best dad & example i could ever ask for. He is going to be a great guy just like his dad. i love to brag about you to my friend & family. Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hello everyone! This isn't Larissa, this is her husband Mike. I just wanted to get on here and surprise Larissa with a little note of appreciation..... but she stole my computer and saw this so it's not so much of a surprise, but I'll still leave a little note. Larissa is the greatest mother! She always puts other before herself, especially Titus. When I get frustrated because Titus won't go to sleep, she nicely takes him from me and some how magically puts him to bed. Some how she survives getting up with Titus in the night (because I never would), and she still can keep together during the day and even sometimes makes me delicious treats while I'm gone at school (she really makes them for her blog, I just like to believe they are for me!) She is so loving and kind, I'm so lucky to have her as a Wife and as a Mother to our kids. I know our kids will grow up to be good people because they have such an awesome mother. Well, everyone knows I've never been a man of many words, so I'll finish this thing up. Just wanted to let Riss know how much I love her and that I think she is a great Mom! Love you Riss!

Wow April went fast. This month started off a little rough for Mikes Family. His Grandpa Meyer passed away after a brief battle lymphoma. He returned to his Heavenly Father one day Shy of his 83rd birthday. From the few years that i had the chance to get to know him he taught me hard work and how have a good time. He showed dedication in everything he did & love to everyone he meet. We love you Grandpa Meyer!

We were able to have Titus meet Grandpa. (this was one of his rough weeks)

On a better happier note: All of Mikes brothers & sisters where able to be together at the funeral.

we took Titus Swimming for his first time...

But he didn't last long. I think the water was a little to cold for him.

We kept him in long enough to get pictures...

He looked so cute in his suite.. of course it was a size 6 months & his swimming diaper was huge on him. But he had fun & looked super cute.

Despite what it may look like. Titus is starting to enjoy his tummy time. He can hold his head up & likes it when we help him roll over. He likes to "scoot" around on his blanket.

He likes to help me work out. We go for walks/jogs around the village. He plays air plane while i do crunches. He is also heavy enough to be used as a weight & likes to go from side to side. He is a trainer in training.

Titus had his 2 month appointment today.

He is now

22.28 inches long (18.69%)

10 lb 15.8 oz (25.97%)

& Head Circumference 38.8 cm (18.59%)
He got two shoots (they were out of one of them) and took one vaccine orally. He was a champ, When they gave him the shoots i stuck his "pluggy" in & he was fine. the Dr. said that he is doing great! he test his strength and said that Titus holds his head up like a 4 month old. (what a stud.)

-Titus can hold his head up.

- He Smiles like crazy.

-He loves it when we help him stand up

- Titus Loves his bath time.

-He loves to cuddle/snuggle.

- He can sleep through the night (when he wants to)

-Titus sleeps in his own room (most of the time)

-He likes to watch TV.

Enjoying Spring Break!

This past week was Mike's Spring Break!
we didn't do much because i had to work ...
Last weekend after i got off work we headed up to Idaho to visit Mike's Grandparents. His grandpa has Lymphoma and we wanted Titus to meet his Great-Grandpa. We helped out his grandparents and enjoyed each others company. His Aunt Corrine also come up (we didn't get a picture with her, dang it).

Mike Went back up to help Monday & Tuesday so Titus and I stayed home so Titus didn't travel to much. We took TONS of pictures for Mike. This was my Favorite...

We got a lot done while mike was home.. My Pantry is Organized, Titus Closet is organized and my house is pretty clean. Pictures to come later...

This weekend my sister had a volleyball Tournament in Salt Lake.We hung out with them friday night and Watched her play Saturday.. They did pretty good i believe they took second.

(Small Story: When we took Titus out of his car seat a team of girls turned from their huddle and asked how old he was... they thought he was the cutest thing... Titus is already a ladies man!)

Titus Really likes his Bath Time.. He loves to talk to us and smile. He is now almost the full length of the Sink, soon we will have to bath him in the tub.

Titus is now 1 1/2 months old. CRAZY! A few weeks ago we Blessed Titus in Price. He did awesome on the drive down. He slept the whole way and then slept 5 hours that night! i was so excited and amazed at how well he was doing with his first trip. Mike did an amazing job on the blessing and we had so much love & support from our families. Thanks to all who came.

I'm Doing these 3 at a time so i can get them done ( i want to finish the challenge) so i can show off my little man... He is already 1 week old... it's crazy how fast they change and grow...He eats, sleeps and poops a lot... He hardly ever cries and is so alert for only being a week old. He is champ Burp-er ... and can drop a bomb when it comes to passing gas. He looks cute in anything (he can only fit into Newborn size clothes [expected but he has so many other cute clothes.])

This little man joined our family on Saturday, January 29th 2011 at 1:18 in the Afternoon.

His Story:

I went in for our last appointment on Friday at about 2:15. I was first scheduled for a Non Stress Test (NST) because i was measuring smaller than what i should have been. They hooked me up to the machine and checked the amniotic fluid. It was still looking good but when they started checking his heart rate it kept having dips. They started to get concerned because i was so close to my due date. They sent me over for another ultrasound to check the fluid and said it was normal but still wanted to keep an eye on Titus because of his heart rate.

Mike showed up about this time (we had another appointment with the dr but weren't going to make it because they kept me upstairs for close monitoring.) They checked us into the OB Emergency services and an hour later wanted to move me over to labor and delivery to be induced to have the baby just so he was here and safe. I got my IV and dressed in my awesome Gown.

By 6:44 they started getting a plan of action underway. They started me on a tablet to induce my labor (cytotec). every four hours i would get another dose that would increase my contractions. By about 8 am i was in labor. They gave me a small breakfast (actually they took it away because they were going to start me on Pitoction), I was in some pain so they also gave me Fentanal.. (that was fun, i was relaxed really fast mike left and came back and i was on oxygen cause i was so relaxed). I was still at a one and having really hard contractions so i asked for an Epidural. After the Epidural i started to go fast. i went to a 4 and then with in an hour i was to an 8. My Epidural hadn't kicked in all the way yet so my contractions where really hard and really painful. I could only lay on my left side because if i layed on my back or my right side Titus' heart rate would drop. By about 11:30 my mom and dad where there and my Epidural started to kick in (finally). about 45 min. later i started to push. Thanks to my determination he was out by 1:18 (my Goal was to have him here before 2 and i did it!)

Sunday Morning came and the Little man and I were doing great. so we figured it would be a good idea to go home.. The doctors tried to convince me to stay but i wanted to get out of the hospital and Titus was doing great. They let us go on one condition- that i call the doctor first thing in the morning and get him in to have his billy rubin (sp) checked.

He didn't like being put in his car seat. But he slept on the way home.

This Little Man joined our family on Saturday January 29th at 1:18 after 4 hours of ACTIVE labor and 1 hour of pushing. He is 5.5 lbs & 19 inches long (no wonder i was so little he is TINY!). He is a little stud and has made us super Proud Parents already.

His eyes are amazing already... he looks like a little Gangster in this pic.. I still don't know who he looks like.

My Dream Wedding took Place on May 9th ,2009 in Manti Utah where i was SEALED to the man of my dreams [my BEST FRIEND] for TIME & ALL ETERNITY! It wouldn't be to hot or to cold & the sun would be out ALL Day.

We had TONS of Support from our friends and Family...

My HUSBAND and I would have a prima-smile and be so happy we couldn't stop looking at each other.

My Dress would match my personality, My shoes would be comfortable and cute, and my Colors would match the season so well.

(my brother couldn't believe that i would wear flats because my husband is so much taller than me)

(my Grandma did all my flowers..)

(Simple cake that was SOOO good.)

Our Parents/ Families were so happy (and excited that i made everything simple & easy to clean up.)

We would be nice when we ate the cake.

(of Course i got the BIGGEST piece and couldn't eat it)

(we cut the cake Perfectly. everyone was so impressed)

We would have our first dance to "Better Together" by Jack Johnson.

After Dancing & eating a little we Zoomed off in our Trusty Vibe!

I would re-live my wedding day if i could i wouldn't change any of it.

Slowcooker Chicken Chili

Make 5 Dinners in 1 hour Ingredients:           Larissa's Ingredients: ( i never really follow the Recipe)
1 onion                                                                   Onion Flacks
1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breasts                  2 or 3 Chicken Breasts
3- 4oz cans chopped green chilies                   1- 4 oz. Chopped Green Chilies (i only had one on hand)
15 oz can pinto beans                                          1 15 oz. Can Pinto Beans (i'm sure you can use others)
15 oz can diced tomatos                                  1 15 oz. can Diced Tomatoes
1 t salt                                                          Salt to taste
1/4 t cumin                                                  Red Pepper Flacks
1/4 oregano                                                A Palm full of Oregano (if it is dried rub for more flavor)

Put Everything in a crockpot/slowcooker and cook on Low for 8 hours or on high for 4. Serve with Homemade Bread (my dad & Husband LOVED IT) Cheese, Sour Cream, Avocado Slices or what ever your little heart Desires.

Mike & I talked about pets that we would wont to have once we get our own house. Right now we can only have gold fish but when we have enough room we would like to have a Black Lab or a Chocolate Lab.

We aren't really animal people but it would be good for the kids to have something to play with and take care of. If they stayed cute and little i would let them in the house but they get big and in the way so animals will be kept out side.

Quick Hospital Story

Yesterday Mike & i took trip to the Hospital hoping to coming home with a baby.
It all started Saturday night...
I started to have consistent contractions with a little pain. but after being on my feet all day i didn't think much of it.
Sunday morning my Contractions were still consistent but not very strong so we went to church. During Sacrament we timed them and they started getting stronger. I had to play the organ so i didn't really want to think about the contractions (I don't think Titus likes me playing, that or he LOVES it cause he would kick and move like crazy when i would play.) My Conractions were starting to take my breath away in sunday school so we timed them and they were 3 to 5 min apart. After sunday school we decided it would be better to be safe then sorry so we went to the hospital.
While at the hospital they checked me & i was at a 1 and 70 % Effaced. They monitored me and Titus for a while. Everything was going good so they decided to let me eat and start walking (to help get me to a 4. four is the magic number to be moved over to Labor & Delivery). Mike and I walked the Hospital for 2 HOURS. I had to do exercises during my contractions so every 3 mins we would stop and i would do my weird exercise.
After the two hours we went back up to the Labor & delivery ER to be checked again and SADLY we were still at a ONE. They sent us home... and so today i am going to be doing my exercises, Clean and keep busy.

Mike is getting so excited and had been texting me every chance he gets to see if my contractions have gotten harder. So i better get off my butt and start Squatting so this little man can be on his way.. We will keep you all updated.

I couldn't just pic one picture of my best friend so i picked 3. Mike Has a amazing smile and i love his attitude with his awesome shades. This Guy is the best friend a girl could ask for, putting up with me and my clean freaky-ness these past few weeks. ( i have been cleaning & getting things ready for Titus the last few weeks & have been moving things around.) He gets so excited about things (like last night i told him i was have contractions and cramps for a while and he couldn't go to sleep till like 2 am.) Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.

SO i know i'm going to miss a few days of these so i'm going to do Day 3 now just for the heck of it (and cause it's Saturday night and we are just chilling at home)

My Idea of the Perfect First Date is my first date with my Husband.
I was so nervous to meet Mike ( I knew who he was but we had never really talked or even acknowledge each other before.) He Picked me up at my house and was a real Gentlemen, Talking to my parents before we took off and opening my door. ( i can even tell you what i was wearing. my Orange sweater my hair half up & Mike Smelled really really good.
We went to El Salto's in Price for some decent Mexican food. (i had enchiladas so did mike.)

After El Saltos we went to his parents house to watch a movie, "The Prestige".

After the Movie he took me home. Yay it was a simple date but it was so much fun. I never knew i could just talk and have such a good time on a first date.
I'm sure after the date we started texting each other because later that weekend sat by each other at church and then Later meet up at Prayer meeting together. (he was heading home after and Stopped in Provo to see his new Nephew Franky!)

End day 3

Day 2 – Tell us about your job.

Well my Job is boring (I'm on maternity leave now!!), i am a "dispatcher" at the University Student Apartments Maintenance Office. Basically a Receptionist for a complaint department. I make work orders and tell people to fix things. But on slow days i just play around on the internet or read. I also do some paper work and filing.

My "NEW" job now is to be a MOMMY, the best job in the world and I don't even have Titus here yet. So Far I love being a mommy. All his cute clothes and the Smell of this Lotions & Shampoo make me so excited. Even his little Diapers make me happy even though i know what will be coming out of them soon. So far i really like how clean my house is since i have been on Maternity Leave (one day... i cleaned the Living room/kitchen this morning) I'm getting everything i can organized and i'm sure that while my Mom is here we will do some more (i love to organize)

End Day 2

Update: We had another appointment to Check my Amniotic Fluid, Everything is NORMAL! normal fluid levels is 15 and we were at a 17.6. Hopefully we have this little guy so we don't have to do another one. They aren't that bad cause we get to see Titus but... i takes a lot of time and we already know he is a healthy little guy. (i'm just a little person.)

So i don't look like this now... This was back in my Freshman year of College.

My Goal is to get back to that weight and grow my hair out & NEVER chop it off again (sure i'll trim & cut a little but i wont CHOP it off again.)

Anyways I don't remember how this day was back in the day but So far today has been going OK. Sadly i am at work but It's my LAST DAY (so far at work there has been a pipe burst in one of the courts & work that someone left from last night [for real people- it's not that hard to get this stuff done])! I'll be here till Noon then at 2:30 we have ANOTHER doctor's appointment. It's a good thing we live so close to the hospital other wise it would be a pain to have an appointment every two days (this little guy just needs to get here, & we really don't need to have these AFI's (Amniotic Fluid Index) the Fluid is NORMAL!). After the Appointment Mike and i have no other plans! just relax for the weekend & wait for this baby (i was hoping i wouldn't make it to 39 weeks but i just might make it to 40 {dang it})

END DAY 1

While i am thinking about it.. i'm going to Announce my Resolutions/Goals for 2011

These aren't in any order.

1.Get back down to PRE-Pregnancy Weight (maybe LOWER)

2. Do the Sprint LUNATIC TRIATHLON.

(this is a must since my FIL has signed me up.)

3.Keep things as organized has possible with the new addition.

4. Find Cute Craft ideas to do for this little guy.

5. Only be a "Social Pop Drinker" (meaning i will only drink pop if it is offered/available i won't go out and buy my own)

6. Cook/Eat Healthier. (If I'm going to be little again i need to eat better)

7. Be a better Journal Keeper. I don't want to forget all the cool,silly, crazy things Titus & Mike think of or do.

8. Read the BoM!

9. Spend the weekends making memories with Titus & Mike.

10. Set weekly goals to accomplish..

12 more days till my Due date & only 2 days left at work.... Everything is ready for the little man to get here.
Dr. says I'm still measuring small for being 38 weeks, but i feel huge. My Dr. is out of the office this week so we will see what the Other Dr thinks. We did an AFI to check the fluid and everything is looking good, it's normal. He is really active and always moving. i have gained a total of 24 lbs. My ribs are so sore and i cant bend over.

Christmas & New Years were great, we were able to spend both with our families!
We took our chances in the storm on Monday the 20th after we had a dr appointment. (the dr said that i am/was "measuring smaller than normal") Anyways the roads were pretty bad but Mike is an excellent driver and we made it in one piece to Price.
We Played with Baby L till the other Monkey's got to Price.

Baby L loves her uncle Mike. She took about a two hour nap with him.

Just Chillin... We did a lot of this till Christmas Eve.

We played lots of games, Talked a ton & eat way to much.

Christmas Eve was filled with Excitement. We waited for the rest Mikes family to join us..

This is what i did most of the time... Played on the computer... Check out that BIG belly.

We did spend lots of time with my family but we always forget our camera so i Borrowed some from my sister. We played lots of games, Played some Basketball, ate way to much Beef Stick.. ( i love beef stick with Sprite) I drank WAY to much Sprite (being pregnant is the best during the holidays) & we played a Lot with "the Kam Bam!"

Measuring just fine (his tummy is measuring on the lower end of normal but it is normal non the less..) here is our handsome guy... I think the is sucking his thumb, because neither one of us has big lips.

Chocolate & Orange Cookies!

I promise i will Blog about christmas... I'm just lazy and don't want to hook the camera up to my computer...
But i'm not to lazy to make cookies (so i'm not really lazy i guess).
Tonight while the Hubby and i were just chillin & watching Friends we decided that i should make some cookies... so we looked through this little cookie cookbook my Friend from High school gave me. Chocolate & Orange Cookies sounded really good to a me (a 9 months pregnant lady).

SO here is the Yummy Recipe if you want to try them out...

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter 1 1/2 c. Flour

1 c. Sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda

1 egg 1/4 tsp Baking Powder

Zest of 1 Orange 1/4 tsp Salt

1 tsp. Vanilla 1 1/2 c. Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 375.
Beat the butter and sugar together. Add egg, orange zest, and Vanilla.
Sift together the dry ingredients (you really don't have to do this, it all blends together anyway) Stir the dry ingredients and chocolate chips into the butter mixture & combine.
Roll into balls. Use your finger to flatten onto a non-stick baking sheet 2 in. apart.
Bake 8 to 10 min. cool for 5.
When cool, store in an airtight container for up to 4 to 5 days.
This makes 2 dozen.
(sorry no pictures cause we ate them so fast and i would have to hook the camera up to the computer...)

Awesome Husband!

So i need to brag... My husband is the best!
I think i facebook about him at least once a week.

I don't know what i would do with out him... Especially now that Titus is almost here.
Yesterday while i was at work all day he cleaned up the office/Titus' room, did the dishes AND helped/made dinner (i had to get visiting teaching done so Brooke if you read this we got it done!) for me, his brother & himself and it was really good.

Mike did my Dream proposal with out me even telling him! how awesome is he!

He Lets me cuddle him and hug him when i'm not feeling well. He ties my shoes, cause i can't bend over to do it anymore. He doesn't let me carry anything heavy, he would get mad at me if i started running for my work outs. He loves Feeling Titus move and likes to move him around in my belly.

Mike Helped me get this degree ( along with my parents) Mike ~~Helped me~~ did my Stats homework, Helped me with Chemistry, And Anatomy.

He always surprises me at Christmas with something that i really wanted but never really expected to get...

Like this year he got me an awesome sewing machine! i don't think he realized that now i have to get fabric and spend money on fun projects for him and Titus... (good thing is he likes to pick out fabric with me)

Mike gave me flowers, DARK chocolate, and took me on our first date for our 1 yr Dating Anniversary.

My Anniversary Present last year! I was so excited that i didn't have to knead the bread in a bowl on the floor anymore. This this has saved my wrists so much pain.

He doesn't mind that i got him Church Socks & a pillow for Christmas ( he is so hard to buy for because he likes computer stuff so i let him get a printer also that he could pick out)
He is so great with kids (doesn't surprise me) but i love watching him with our nieces & nephews.

He is a big Teddy bear and so funny. Baby L & Kambri would cuddle with him all day if they could.

Last year Franky loved to tell mike stories before he fell asleep.

Just watching him with the kids makes me so excited for when Titus gets here. I might have to fight with Mike to feed Titus just so i can hold my own baby. He just loves kids.

Em & Banana when Mike went for a Visit a Few years ago.

I'm Sure He hates it when i talk about him but this is the best way for me to document how awesome he is. I can't ever stay mad at him cause he just has the most handsome face. He also makes me laugh and i always forget what i got mad about.

He is very protective of me, he always tells me when to take a break from cleaning or being on my feet, He doesn't like me driving anywhere by myself (like when i went to my parents by myself over Christmas... that is a story for another time)

once again.... we have so much fun in the car.

He Has an AMAZING voice! I could listen to him sing all day!
He is so friendly. sure he does it jokingly sometimes but he waves at almost everyone when we are driving down the road.

We had so much on our Honeymoon honking & waving at random people on the Freeway...

He is SO FUNNY. i think everyone would agree with me, he is always up for a crazy game of something interesting at my Parents house. He always gives us a good laugh with the crazy voices & sounds he makes.

He is always pulling some kind of weird face...

I just love this guy. He is going to be an awesome example to Titus. He is an amazing example to me.

35 weeks!

Here i am board at work....
So i'll update you on how baby Titus is doin!

I don't have pictures from Christmas on my computer yet so that will have to wait for another post.

This is 35 weeks only 5 more to go!

The Dr. says that i am measuring smaller than normal.

(my thoughts: I'm smaller than normal doc. & he is in a different position every time.)

We go in for an ultra sound on the 5th to see how everything is going. On the 7th we go to a Dr. Appointment & from here on out we go every week... So exciting

I can't wait to have this little guy here... I'm getting use to the Braxton Hicks Contractions. My Ribs hurt but i have awesome SIL's who told me to put ice on it to get him out of them. (it worked like a charm)

Last night sleeping was tough i don't know if it was because of Titus, Mike or the fact that i had to get up at 6. His room still needs to be cleaned up... and organized. but everything is coming together, Soon this little guy is be blessing our lives and making us the happiest Parents ever!

This month fells like it has gone by so fast!
Mike has been busy studying for his finals and is now DONE for the semester!
I have been waiting patiently for this baby who doesn't come for another 45 Days... We love this little guy already! He is a mover for sure, I feel bad he doesn't have room to stretch out because I'm so short (& i swear my ribs are bruised from the inside.) Here i am at 33 weeks... I am tired, my feet are sore, & i cry over the most RANDOM things. Good thing i have an awesome husband who is here for me when i have my break downs.

Well the First few weeks of December have gone by so fast. The first weekend we went home to Price for my baby shower. We got some super cute stuff and lots of it. Titus is going to be the cutest little guy ever. ( i mean come on he has mike as a dad)
Sorry but i didn't take any pictures of the shower, my sisters did but i haven't gotten the pictures from them.
The Weekend after that we went on a carriage ride & a Voice Male concert with the Terry Crew.

Now that it is December (finally!), our tree is up (smells SOOOO great!), my blog is red & green, & i'm 7.5 months pregnant it's time for a quick update with some pictures!

Here i am at 30 weeks... i am starting to feel Pregnant

My Ribs are sore, I can't bend down & i am so tired.

I am so glad i am still fitting in my pre-pregnant clothes,

But soon i think i'll start wearing more comfy pants &

shirts that don't make me look as fat.

we are going on 28 weeks tomorrow (sunday)
we went to the Dr. on friday and everything is going great! we heard Ty's heart beat and he was moving like crazy! I have to start taking it easy on my work outs because of his weight but that is ok...I also did the Glucose Test.. It wasn't that bad, I downed the "syrup" we hung out around the Hospital for an hour for them to draw my blood. I haven't heard anything from the Dr. so hopefully that is a good thing. We also get to start going ever two weeks it's crazy we are getting this close to having Ty. We are super excited for him to join our family...

100 Days and Counting!

I am so excited we only have 100 days left till little TITUS JOSEPH gets here. Those 100 days will be spent working, Shopping for Christmas, Spending Time with Family for the Holidays, a few more volleyball games, A LOT more school & studying, a baby blessing for miss Kambri Ivory, and who knows what else!

Not much has been going on this week.

Mike has been busy with school, like really busy it seems like. He is such a good student. Studies as much as possible, gets all his assignments done in time, and Still has time to cuddle me. Me... I've been working every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's a good way to get out of the house and earn some Money. I am still physically active and get to the gym when i can. After Hiking Arches though my Legs were killing me, but i think that was carrying 15 extra pounds around hiking. Ty is kicking everyday, i love to watch my belly move and feeling him kick. Mike always gets excited when he feels him kick. We go to the Dr. on the 5th so i can take that NASTY orange drink stuff... not looking forward for that but excited to hear his heart beat. Mike wants another ultra sound so we can see the little guy.

After Kambri (Courtney & Brandi's little girl) I have gotten so excited to see Titus and to hold him and dress him in his cute clothes. I still have so much to do before he gets here but i have 100 days to do all that. his quilt is almost done! I'm still Fitting in my "pre-Pregnancy" clothes which is nice. I am carrying kind of high so my pants still fit great. Shirts are starting to get tight but i LOVE sweaters, so now that it is getting colder all my sweaters look great!.

Fall Break!

Mike's fall Break was this last week so we spent sometime in Price with our families. I had to work so i didn't get to join in the fun till Wednesday. Amie and Baby L where in for a visit i'll have to get their pictures up next post... On Saturday we went to Arches ... Mike has never been before so we thought i would be the perfect timing before i got to big.

My Opionion on being pregnant

Here i am at work trying to pass the time... so i thought i would share my Thoughts on being pregnant ...

Cons:

1) At the Beginning of the pregnancy, my headaches where the worst thing ever!

2) Not being able to Eat all the Tuna I want. I LOVE (almost as much as Mike & Ty) Tuna Fish over Rice With Soy Sauce.. and now i can't eat it as much as i would like... in fact i haven't had any Tuna for about 2 months now...How sad is that..

3) The Back Pain. My Lower back has started to hurt a lot in the past few days. Last night while Mike was using me as he test Dummy for his Test he noticed that my lower back is Swollen. On top of being pregnant we have a VERY low couch that i use to love .... now it kills my back..

4) Gaining weight. Yeah it should only be about 20-30 lbs, but when your little like me... that is a lot to carry around. It's going to be killer to work it all off once Ty gets here..

5) not a fan of the bigger chest...

6) Not a fan of not being able to do as much as i use to... Like working out, i miss being able to RUN and Lift more than a do now. Even when it comes to cleaning the house i have to rest between doing dishes and cleaning the living room, I use to be able to clean the whole house with out taking a break. now i have to rest and regain energy to clean more than one room. Mike has to tell me when I'm doing to much.

PROS:

1) Seeing my belly grow. I didn't think i would like the Pregnant belly but now that it is starting to show i kind of like it. I like to rest my hands on it.

2) I love feeling him move. He moves a lot during the day now and it is so much fun to watch my belly move as he moves around. The best is when Mike gets to feel him kick and then looks at me all excited.

3) I love having Mike talk to my Belly. He is so cute, Since i don't really pay attention when he talks about sports he talks to Titus about his teams.

4) I love all the cute clothes that i get to start buying for Titus.

5) I am excited for all the Fun Projects i will be making for him soon! I can't wait to get his room put together. 6) I am enjoying the fast growing hair and nails. and the "glow" that i have now.

7) i love that my Pants still fit... hopefully it stays that way because i don't want to wear maturity pants.

8) I love being a WIC! 4 1/2 gallons of milk each month (we give 1 gallon to mikes brother because we really get 5 1/2 gallons) and $10 for Fruits and Veggies! also the cereal.

9) Medicaid... i must be weird but i like that all my health care is free. It wasn't to much of a pain to get on Medicaid after all the horror stories i heard.

The Last 2 weeks i have really POPPED out.

It's not the best picture and I think i do my Hair the same way every week for church...I love watching the Little guy move around in my Belly. I love feeling him move and I LOVE that i can eat almost anything now. My clothes are starting to get tight but my pants are still fitting nicely. I have more energy for cooking, cleaning and Hanging out with my husband. I'm not a big fan of the back pains or leg cramps at night but it will all be worth it. My Next Dr. appointment is Oct. 5th.

Comfy Monsters Craft Corner!

Along with getting my Baby Bump i have started my new job at the Maintenance office. It gets me out of the house and it keeps me busy during the day. Mike is working hard in school and enjoying his second semester. He is playing Flag Football with his fellow Physical Therapists. He is keeping busy with studying and helping with baby stuff. He likes talking to little Titus (who for on the blog he will be refereed to as Ty.) about how cool his mom is and how bad the cowboys are doing right now. Just so everyone knows how amazing my husband is... Mike made dinner the other night and it was AMAZING! i came home from work and he had STIR FRY ready to eat! i love Stir Fry and his was BETTER than Rumbi Grill! I LOVE MIKEY!

I'll do a picture update for August & this far of September... so here we go... For my Birthday on the 12th we went up to Idaho to visit Grandma & Grandpa Meyer, On the way Home we went through Logan for my Cousins wedding...

On the 21st we went to Price for my sister-in-laws Baby shower. I forgot my camera so i don't have any pictures of the Shower. A few days before the shower I went to Delta for my sisters volleyball game.. Mike Stayed and helped his dad with the shed... i need to get pictures of it up...

My sister (Kacylia) is in the White Jersey.
{to explain she didn't forget her Blue Jersey, She is called the Libero. She only plays back row, she is basically the rover of volleyball. This Position runs in the family...
Because we are short it's hard to play front row...}

Since Mike is a student He gets in free to Volleyball Games & can get a guest in for free also... No offense to High school & Jr. high Volleyball but i needed to see some College volleyball {after Coaching for 2 years i get pretty critical of my sisters & the Teams they Play.. So watching some Fast almost perfect volleyball helps me not be Critical. I Can't wait till i get to coach again..}

{ i will only cheer for Utah when they aren't playing BYU... Sorry Utah I'm true Blue...}

This is the AWESOME crib we found on KSL for $20.. It's the one i wanted & mike found one on KSL i just had to have it... it came with the Mattress so it was well worth it. I can't wait to get this room put together..

On Thursday Carbon Played Park City in a Region game... So since it's only 30 min away Mike & I thought it would be fun to go watch.
